115. The Door Isn’t Closed on America with JD LeHew

Non Profit

Retired Marine Sergeant Major and Navy Cross recipient JD LeHew returns to Driven By for his third conversation with Sam, five years after his first two appearances.

Today, JD leads History Flight, a nonprofit dedicated to searching for, recovering and identifying America’s missing service members. More than 81,000 Americans remain unaccounted for from World War II onward, and JD has spent years working to bring them home.

But this conversation goes well beyond his work with History Flight.

JD talks about personal responsibility, national division, knowing when it’s time to walk away and what he learned walking 3,365 miles across America. Through it all is a conviction that despite what Americans may see in the news or on social media, the country’s story is far from finished.

It’s a conversation about service and sacrifice, but also about ownership, integrity and the small choices people make every day that can create change far beyond themselves.
